Top 10 Best Fury Spells in Amethyst Imbuement (Minecraft Mod)

Amethyst Imbuement is a massively popular Minecraft mod, allowing players to wield Scepters that can cast spells.

Of the spells available, each one has a type. This can be Fury, Wit, or Grace.

Fury spells are designed to deal damage, while others are used to change the world around you or heal others.

If you want to unleash huge spells of epic damage, then this list will be your go-to for Fury spells.

Each one is powerful but as your fury level increases, you’ll find yourself able to cast better spells.

How do I get better spells in Amethyst Imbuement?

Simply find spell books in loot chests across the world. Right-click while holding the spell book to change it into a random spell.

Crystal Master Villagers may also sell spell books.

10) Ice Spikes

Fury Level Required: 8

Casting Ice Spikes will launch a cascade of spikes in the chosen direction.

Dealing a base damage of 5.5 hearts, you can increase the damage by 0.25 per level. Levels are increased by simply using the spell.

Costing just 14 mana per cost, and requiring a low fury level, makes Ice Spikes an excellent starting spell choice

However, it is unique to the Frosted Scepter line which many players may avoid.

9) Withering Bolt

Fury Level Required: 10

Upon casting Withering Bolt, a Wither Skull will emerge from your body and fire towards the targeted location.

As well as dealing significant damage, this spell can be used to clear up to 4 blocks upon impact.

With such power comes a downside, and that’s the fact it requires a tier 2 wand. This is surely resource intensive for its fury level!

8) Empowered Slash

Fury Level Required: 13

Empowered Slash launches a wide attack in front of you, dealing big damage (9 hearts base) to the first enemy hit, and half damage to others.

Each spell level increases damage by an additional 1.5, and it only uses up 15 mana!

Such area of effect power is super useful for clearing swathes of mobs. Many players use Empowered Slash early on, thanks to the low fury level requirement.

7) Flamewave

Fury Level Required: 16

Each shot of Flamewave will deal a decent 6 damage. That doesn’t sound like much compared to other spells, but Flamewave has a 0.1s cooldown.

You can essentially output over 60 hearts of damage per second if you can aim well enough!
Projectiles also pass through mobs, so you can clear out multiple enemies with just a few shots.

6) Levitating Bullet

Fury Level Required: 16

Upon activating Levitating Bullet, a small projectile will be summoned to orbit you.

As you get close to enemies, the bullets will fling themselves towards their hitbox.

The cooldown is fairly modest at 4 seconds, as is the mana cost. Damage is also capped at 4.

However, you must consider the auto-aim effect and almost afk-like bonus of them only attacking when needed.

5) Summon Totem of Fury

Fury Level Required: 16

Fury’s only summon-type spell, the totem of fury lasts for upwards of a minute and can harm enemies within 5 blocks.

Every 1.3 seconds, the totem will fire at a nearby enemy, dealing up to 5 damage. Each shot will also transfer aggro to the totem, which has a good amount of health and armor.

Certainly, use this spell to bolster a position while you arrange your inventory or consume food/potions.

4) Resonate

Fury Level Required: 18

Unique to the Resonance scepter, this spell can be one of the most damaging in the game!

Upon casting Resonate, all nearby enemies will be hit for at least 5 damage. Cast it again after 0.9s, and the damage increases to 6.

As long as you keep casting, the damage will keep increasing, until you don’t cast for 2 seconds.

As you can imagine, this is a huge amount of damage potential in just a single spell.

However, Resonance is a very costly scepter and will require a lot of farming to obtain.

3) Comet Storm

Fury Level Required: 18

One of my personal favourites, Comet Storm is a truly awesome spell that makes you feel like a god.

You must target an enemy with this spell, which then launches multiple fireballs from your location.

These fireballs not only deal huge damage and destroy blocks, they leave behind fire!

When fully upgraded, each direct fireball hit will deal a whopping 10.5 damage. Enough to 2-shot any mob!

2) Lightning Storm

Fury Level Required: 20

You must be outside to use this spell, which calls down a dozen lightning strikes at the targeted mob.

Each strike will deal up to 9 damage, as well as leave a fire burning in the location.

Interestingly enough, this spell also changes the weather of the Minecraft world to thunderstorm!

This is surely the most awesome spell you can get your hands on and will have a huge impact on the world around you.

There is just one more though, that cannot be beaten for damage output.

1) Fang Barrage

Fury Level Required: 22

When fully upgraded, each strike will deal 7.2 damage, and multiple waves occur over several seconds.

Such a short cooldown of 5 seconds means you can spam this fairly frequently. It is a bit overkill though, as it melts mobs and bosses alike.

Additionally, it isn’t even that expensive to craft!

7 Emerald Blocks are pretty much nothing for a player who lives remotely close to a village. Once you have them, the rest is easily found after looting a few Mineshafts.

Fang Barrage is surely the best Fury spell in the game in terms of damage output and easiness to obtain!
