Dragon Raja: Best Blademaster Skill Choices & Rotation Order

Dragon Raja has 4 different classes to choose from when you create your first character, with more classes becoming available as your character levels up.

Of the starter classes, Blademaster is one of the most skilful to use. Severely lacking in the ranged department, Blademasters need to stay close to their targets to deal damage.

Seeing as all other classes have defensive skills and mobility to keep them safe, having the right skill order/rotation is an absolute necessity for any Blademaster. Even more so than for any other class.

Blademaster Build Rotation

You’ll find the best general build rotation/skill order above.

If you’re seriously getting into pvp, your rotation and skill build choices will heavily depend on the type of opponent.

For a general “one size fits all” build (particularly for newer players), this is the best skill rotation build you will find on the internet.

It provides excellent crowd control, gap closers, and DPS.

You’ll notice two skills are missing. Namely Demon Rage and Mist Posture. These skills are best when activated manually, as they come with downsides.

Demon Rage increases damage taken so you’ll only want to use this when your opponent is CC’d, or when you’re confident you can win even with the increased damage taken.

Mist Posture reduces damage taken for a few seconds and grants an extra ability if you take damage during this time. The best time to use this is just after your CC abilities have finished, as your opponent will then go all out with their own abilities.

Skill Choice Explanations

Moongazer

Flash is the other skill choice, adding an extra gap closer.

However, Blademasters have enough gap closers with Sakura Slay, Moon Shattered, and Blossom dance, as well as the normal dash.

Moongazer leads into Wane which increases dodge chance instead. And has a slightly lower cooldown.

Red Lotus

Recommended for the extra damage as the other skills have increased CC. Not generally that useful as you have enough gap closers already, the further CC isn’t as useful as extra damage.

Mist Posture: Shatterer

Used over Landslide for the gap closer, as well as extra damage.

The other variant (Landslide) is more for tanking damage in PvE but that is generally not a problem until much higher levels.

Shatterer is the best choice for mobility and CC.

Aftershock

This is the only real choice as the other 2 skills create zones on impact, whereas Aftershock inflicts aerial CC.

The zones are almost useless as the enemies will simply escape, few classes stay in melee combat with Blademasters for long.

Blademaster EX Skills

The best EX skill for a Blademaster is Scorch.

Scorch’s ability: Upon reading D-Cypher, a hot jet of flame shoots out, dealing Physical damage, reducing physical and magical defense for 10 seconds. Later tiers also unlock a damage over time effect.

Scorch also increases P.ATK and M.ATK, although Blademasters only use P.ATK and Fire ATK.

Use Scorch as soon as you CC the enemy to ensure it lands. It adds an extra bit of damage to your initial burst, which will help decide the course of the fight.
