Top 10 Best Special Talents in IdleOn

At first glance, IdleOn may look like a silly video game due to its minimal art design. But that couldn’t be farther from the truth because IdleOn includes every core mechanic that we normally see in the role-playing genre.

Whether it’s something like leveling up your characters, choosing from different classes, equipping gear, or scavenging loot – nothing is left out.

Once you’ve played the game for a while, you will come to realize that Special Talents are very important. Though the player mainly obtains Special Talents from Special Talent Books, there are many different ways of obtaining them in the first place.

These talents give the player many different types of boosts, which help with things like earning extra EXP, increasing base HP, hitting more CRIT attacks, and more.

All of these things are useful, but some are undoubtedly more helpful to have than others.

Special Talents in IdleOn are very useful and far more involved than something like Obols. Although most of these talents are pretty useful, some are undeniably better. And those are the ones that we’ll look at today.

So, let’s take a look at the 10 best Special Talents in IdleOn!

10) Coins for Charon

Let’s start with some money. If you want to boost how much you earn in IdleOn when killing mobs, then you’ll find Coins for Charon a very beneficial Special Talent.

There are no secret or complicated conditions here, you simply make more money with this talent applied. However, you do need to be a high-level player because killing just a few enemies won’t be worth it. Instead, you need to be able to mow down armies.

9) Just Exp

If you like honesty, then you’re going to love Just EXP because it’s exactly what it sounds like. It boosts the XP points that you gain for your characters in IdleOn, and the more you level it up – the higher the gains become.

It does not have any gimmicks or extra bonuses, which means that it’s something that you will benefit from in early gameplay much more than you would later on. But nonetheless, it’s very useful to have.

8) Goblet of Hemoglobin

Goblet of Hemoglobin is an amazing Special Talent for everyone who can benefit from more HP. Killing a monster heals you both in active and AFK play, so it even suits different types of playstyles.

The amount at which you get healed changes based on how much you level it up – and we recommend taking it as high up as possible.

7) Quest Chungus

The name of this special talent has absolutely nothing to do with the talent itself. But surprisingly, it’s a very good one that you can take advantage of.

When you use this talent, each quest that you complete gives you +1 LUK – which is capped at +4 per level. It’s a great way to give a boost to your characters in terms of gathering loot, which is a massive advantage for a game like IdleOn.

6) Attack on Simmer

This Special Talent makes your Attack moves boost your AFK gains more than they normally do. How much it boosts depends on how much you level it up. Naturally, it starts off a bit small but becomes massive when you max it out.

Do keep in mind that you should use this on fighting builds specifically since that is an important part of how the AFK gains come in with this talent.

5) Tick Tock

Tick Tock gives an increased AFK gain for skills and fighting stats – which is a wonderful advantage to have. Especially since you can max it out, which keeps increasing the gains that you get too.

It wouldn’t be too useful for you if you don’t care about skills and fighting gains when idle specifically – but if you do, then this will change your life (for the better).

4) Roll Da Dice

Roll Da Dice is a very unique Special Talent that, as the name implies, rolls dice for the player. If it lands on 1 – it gives the player a special trophy. That trophy gives the player 2% Luck, which is not bad at all.

Though we recommend using this on an active character as it’s not very useful for idle gameplay. If you do play actively, then you should certainly try this fun little Special Talent out because there’s not much else like it.

3) Stonks!

Stonks! Gives the player special talent points, which can be used to invest in other special talents. So, in a way, this really is like investing in stocks and getting a larger profit than what you originally paid for. If you want to try tons of special talents, then getting this is a great idea.

You have to love the developer’s commitment to memes, and also respect the fact that such items are still very useful in the game at the end of the day.

2) Telekinetic Storage

Having the ability to instantly deposit your items on the go is a huge advantage in an RPG game filled with loot. It only costs 1 Mana and the action time is as low as 0.1 seconds – which makes it a great Special Talent to have for anyone.

It does come with a Carry Cap, but it’s very much manageable and does not really come in the way of your overall experience.

1) Will of the Eldest

Will of the Eldest is by far one of the greatest Special Talents that you can get your hands on in IdleOn. It boosts All Stats by 1+ for every 10 levels of your highest-leveled character.

Which practically means that the sky is the limit because 1+ increase to every stat is a pretty big deal and can provide a massive advantage to those who are looking for it. Leveling up by 10 may sound like a big requirement, but when you play the game for dozens of hours – it doesn’t feel like a chore anymore.

Conclusion

These were our handpicked choices for the top 10 best Special Talents in IdleOn. Unlike some of our other rankings, the Special Talents are certainly more of a divisive topic because a lot of them are very useful for different player preferences.

We hope that you found some useful information that you didn’t already know and will apply it to your gameplay too. And while you’re still here, make sure to check out some of our other IdleOn guides too!
